Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) provides steel design, fabrication, construction and modularisation services. Founded in 1969 by Erasmo Mosole and partners, PIC is a migrant family business success story. Initially serving the Wheatbelt’s primary producers, it has grown alongside the Western Australian economy – expanding into the resources and energy sectors along with large-scale commercial construction projects.
Challenge.
Initially engaged to create a book for PIC’s 50th anniversary, we discovered the company’s positioning and communication – especially for potential employees in a competitive market – didn’t appropriately convey its rich history and offering.
Solution.
PIC’s long-serving green pentagon evolved, referencing the company’s distinctive gabled workshops, while the presentation of its capabilities and values was strategically refined. The new PIC brand debuted for its 50th anniversary, alongside a book detailing the story of the company and its founding family.

Result.
After a senior engineer remarked on PIC’s outdated website, it became clear to the client that a revamp was essential – he almost didn’t apply for the job due to the site’s look. Our comprehensive upgrade, authentic to the company’s core, not only elevated it out of the pack of mid-level steel manufacturers but also positioned them strongly to attract interest from key employee prospects.”
